Stevette Music, Inc. Announces The Vault — A New Archival Album Series from composer/author, artist C’batch.
Stevette Music, Inc. is proud to announce the upcoming release of The Vault, a new archival album series from recording artist and songwriter Stephen H. Cumberbatch, known musically as C’batch. The series will present a collection of previously unreleased, rediscovered works, and newly reimagined material created during what C’batch considers one of the most prolific and creatively inspired periods of his life.
Developed with a close circle of collaborators—affectionately referred to as his musical “co-conspirators”—these recordings capture a wide range of musical ideas and explorations that emerged during that time. While some selections first appeared on the C’batch & Herring album Unfinished Business, they have been revisited, reworked, and newly realized for this series. Many others, however, have remained unheard until now.
With The Vault, Stevette Music, Inc., together with Stephen H. Cumberbatch, is opening the archives and sharing these works with the public for whom they were always intended. The series offers listeners a unique opportunity to experience the creative depth and musical range that shaped this important chapter of the artist’s career.
Stevette Music, Inc. also wishes to acknowledge and thank the many co-writers and collaborators who contributed to the creation of several of these works. Their artistry and participation were instrumental in bringing these songs to life.
